Seeing as one of the biggest complaints of new attorneys is “Hey, I don’t have a job!”, I figured I would try to, once every couple of weeks, do a bit of digging and see what’s out there for entry level employment jobs.Keep in mind, these are only postings from the last week. The primary candidate will provide excellent client service and handle matters related to client files in regards to daily business processes. • Provide courteous communication, customer service, and timely assistance and response with borrowers, vendors, attorneys, court systems, branches and other departments.
The essential Skills and Experience for this Position are:
• Minimum 3 years experience in business and/or civil litigation representing financial institutions in financial and real estate related matters, and possess total competence, knowledge, and understanding of all process matters related thereto.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills to communicate effectively with superiors, subordinates, clients, and vendors.
• Must possess exceptional organizational and time management skills to facilitate high problem solving capabilities.
• Computer literacy, proficiency in LexisNexis, PCLaw, Microsoft Office Suite, and legal related tracking systems and databases required.
• Must have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in Washington.
• Must be admitted to practice law in all jurisdictions in Washington, including State and Federal Courts.

COURT COMMISSIONER
The Court of Appeals, Division I is recruiting for the position of Court Commissioner. Appellate court commissioners are judicial officers appointed by the judges of their respective courts to act as judges in (1) deciding appeals, (2) deciding procedural matters, and (3) performing other duties as provided in the Rules of Appellate Procedure (RAP), Court of Appeals Administrative Rules (CAR), and as assigned by their courts. At Division I, the commissioner’s primary responsibilities are hearing and deciding motions for discretionary review, procedural motions, petitions for attorney fees and costs, matters requiring emergency decisions, and appeals from orders of dependency and terminating parental rights. As judicial officers, appellate court commissioners are subject to the Code of Judicial Conduct and are responsible to the Chief Judge of the division in which they serve. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Pursuant to Court of Appeals Administrative Rule 16, Commissioners must be a member in good standing of the Washington State Bar Association and have five years experience in the practice of law or in a judicially related field.
